Gratitude?

Lost a parent, but I still have my brothers and dad.

Lost the love of my life, but there are still suitors.

Lost my singing voice, but I still can pick up exercise!

Lost motivation in life, but hey you’re still alive!

Most of the time I don’t rant or share because it doesn’t make it easier for those who try to be there, to try lifting spirits up. But please try not to say things in vain, for the sake of saying it. I won’t tell you that you’re not being exactly empathetic (because I won’t know where you’re coming from), but just don’t say it if you can’t bear to hear the words coming out of others’ mouths; when you can’t imagine being in whatever positions others judge you for.

Sad truth. I’m still happy and thankful for good friends (:
